Our Very Well designed Truss Bidge
Cedric’s Reflection
1. Initially I had a belief that our bridge would stand up better against all the competition in holding weights. We had a very well designed bridge, it consited of multiple overlapping triangles.
2. Our bridge did not stand up as well as I thought. I beleive it was because our joints were not connected in the way that they should have been. the toothpics fell out out of the gumdrops because they wer'nt pushed in far enough.
3. When designing our bridge we should have connected our joints better. We would have pushed the toothpics in the Dots(tm) farther.
4. My partner was very helpful in this project because he gave me a lot of insight. he told me i should overlap the triangels.
5. Yes because it showed me stress, compression, and tension points better. It just gave me an overall better understanding.
